New Name - Expanded Mission
The Arcade Café is owned and operated by John and Nancy Pignatore, a recently married couple who purchased the restaurant when it was known as "The Grove Avenue Grill" and located in the Arcade Shops on Libbie and Grove. Soon after it's purchased the restaurant moved next door into its current location at 5810 Grove Ave. With its new digs came a new name and new Tuscan style decor where pictures of old Richmond are displayed on the Café's walls. Moving and changing its name was just the beginning for this popular Café. The mission included expanding its catering capability to include, Box lunches for all type of business meetings and office functions. Also included in its catering capability is the ability to hold private parties at the Café. The café sits 45-50 people indoors and another 20-25 in its ABC approved patio. Its customers can now elect to have a catered function at their place or at the Café. John and Nancy have transformed the Café into a "Hot" breakfast and Lunch spot where customers come seeking many of the street named items listed on its delicious and inventive menu. Known mostly for its home made chicken salad and home made soups the Arcade also brags about having the best Philly cheese steaks in town. Come and see for yourself why this little café has become such a popular lunch spot in the Libbie/Grove community. If you are planning a function at home or office give the Café a call.
